Elton John and David Furnish enjoy wild stag party
Sir Elton John and his fiancé David Furnish held a star studded joint stag night in Soho on Monday evening.
The singer arrived at the newly opened Too2Much cabaret nightclub in Soho in a turquoise suite whilst Mr Furnish opted for a sparkly black coat. The venue was recently featured in the hit British comedy Kinky Boots.
Guests of the pair included the film stars Orlando Bloom, Liz Hurley and gay star Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Elton’s close friend the TV presenter Cilla Black.
The A-list crowd enjoyed a unique cabaret performance compeered by the TV presenter Paul O’Grady, better known as drag queen Lily Savage. Performers included Bryan Adams, the Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears. The 1990s boy band phenomenon Take That teamed up with Lulu to belt out a well-received rendition of ‘Relight My Fire.’
Guests were also treated to a saucy strip from former Blue front man Lee Ryan as well as topless waiters.
In an attempt to keep costs down, the partygoers were served sparkling wine instead of champagne.
Sir Elton and Mr Furnish are due to marry in a Civil Partnership ceremony on Wednesday 21st December at Windsor’s Guildhall.
