Woman denies seducing 14-year-old lesbian
A 27-year-old security guard has denied seducing a teenage girl at a lesbian ‘vicars and tarts’ themed house party last year.
Sandra Scrivener is on trial at Cambridge Crown Court, and denies charges of performing a sex act on a minor and supplying her with cannabis.
She says they became friends and would meet up to talk through the girl’s problems.
Screivener earlier admitted allowing the girl to hide in her house when she ran away from home, and allowing other people to smoke drugs on her premises.
The prosecution allege that Scrivener seduced the teenager at the house party last October, having first given her drugs.
The Cambridge Evening News quotes her as telling the court: “I am a bit immature and get on better with younger people than older people, but our relationship never went beyond friendship. I know that would be wrong.”
Under cross-examination earlier in the trial, the teenager denied making up her story that they openly kissed and cuddled at the party before having sex in the bathroom. The girl had told school counsellors that most of her story was a fabrication.
The case continues.
