Brighton scene mag to go national

3SIXTY magazine, one of the mainstays of the gay scene in southern England, is to expand its distribution area.

From May 1st the glossy A4 monthly will become a national gay news, lifestyle and scene magazine.

3SIXTY, which is monthly, is now in its sixth year of publication and already claims a readership of 60,000. It is popular in its base city of Brighton and Hove and the south of England.

“We’re very excited that 3SIXTY is now available to a national readership,” editor Torsten Hojer told PinkNews.co.uk.

“3SIXTY has proven to be one of the fastest growing gay publications in the south of England, Wales and the Midlands, so we’re looking forward to heading North.

“We’re committed to providing readers with a fresh and positive look at gay life, from pop to plays and news to exclusive celebrity interviews.”

The title is free and distributed in gay and gay-friendly outlets.

It is two magazines in one, 3SIXTY Life and 3SIXTY Scene, with editorial sections for advertisers.

Coverage now includes the three large gay city communities of Brighton, London and Manchester as well as Liverpool, Blackpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Bath, Plymouth, Oxford, Reading, Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth.
