VIP tickets for Gay and Lesbian World Cup on sale now
Limited edition VIP tickets for the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) World Championship are now on sale.
The tournament will take place from 24th to 31st August at Regents Park.
Described by hosts Leftfooters FC as ‘the biggest international football competition of 2008’, the tournament will have over 50 teams from six continents taking part.
In addition the tournament brings with it a week jam-packed with evening social events, which VIP ticket holders may attend.
As well as access to the Tournament Village at Regents Park, the VIP tickets will also get sports fans into Horizon at FIRE for half price on Saturday 23rd, and the opening ceremony at Shepherds Bush Empire on Sunday 24th.
Other events include the kick off party at Enclave on Monday 25th, where the lucky first 50 guests will receive a Fortnum and Mason goodie bag.
Alternatively, VIP ticket holders could head to Bubbles and Divas Bingo Night at The Village, also on Monday.
Tuesday 26th brings more partying at FIRE, with fantastic DJ’s playing a range of music from cheesy pop to classic dance anthems.
Following a probably much-needed rest on Wednesday, there will be a Mr and Miss World competition at The Black Cap on Thursday 28th, with a chance to win a helicopter flight over London, or Ruby Thursday at Ku Bar.
On Friday 29th VIP ticket holders have the chance to meet members of Leftfooters FC from 4pm in the Tournament Village, with live entertainment from the Gay Symphonic Winds.
The finals of the tournament will be on Saturday 30th at Leyton Orient FC’s Matchroom Stadium, with a closing ceremony at AREA.
Diehard fans can then attend the Bon Voyage Buffet at Ku Bar on Sunday 31st, an exclusive brunch buffet as a final farewell to visitors.
