Celebrities show their support for lesbian fundraising event
Celebrities such as Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton and Sharon Obsourne were out in force to support An Evening With Women, a fundraising event for the LA Gay & Lesbian Centre held last Friday.
The night featured performances by Christina Aguilera and Linda Perry, and a live auction hosted by Sharon Stone.
Items that were being auctioned had been donated by stars such as Bette Midler, Gwen Stefani, Perez Hilton and many more.
Other stars who showed up to the bash at the Beverly Hilton Hotel included Dita Von Teese, Sarah Silverman and Clementine Ford.
The money raised at an Evening With Women will support a wide range of women’s programming at the L.A Gay & Lesbian Center.
The programmes include women’s health, legal assistance, domestic violence prevention and education, and cultural classes designed especially for women.
An Evening With Women’s host committee includes Cher, Jared Leto and Slash.
