Gay version of Real Housewives in development
An version of Bravo’s Real Housewives featuring only gay couples is reportedly in development.
According to gossip website Gawker, the series has been tentatively titled Kept and will be aired in 2010 on MTV’s gay channel Logo.
The show is set to feature “fabulous Manhattan party boys” and an open casting call will be held in New York in the next few weeks.
It is thought that the production company making the show will be True Entertainment, which made The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the producers of the original lesbian series The L Word are set to create a new reality TV show, entitled The Real L Word: Los Angeles.
Focusing on the lives of real LA lesbians, producers hope the show will appeal to fans of the fictional drama.
