Anti-gay Miss California sued for the price of her breast implants
Carrie Prejean, the Miss California who publicly disagreed with gay marriage, is being sued for $5,200, the price of her breast implants.
The beauty queen is embroiled in a legal dispute with K2 productions, the directors of the Miss California USA pageant.
She was sacked after the controversial comments, although pageant bosses said it was because she had made appearances in her role without their permission.
Prejean is suing K2, pageant coordinator Keith Lewis, his former co-director Shanna Moakler and pageant publicist Roger Neal slander, libel, religious discrimination, public disclosure of private facts and infliction of emotional distress. One of the claims is said to refer to the breast implants which the company paid for.
However, the officials have now launched a countersuit, saying that the “private facts” relate to the boob job and should not be included in her lawsuit.
The countersuit, according to E Online, reads: “The alleged ‘private facts’ consist of her breast augmentation (which ceased being private during the swimsuit competition of the nationally-televised Miss USA pageant, in which Ms Prejean walked the stage in a bikini).”
They are demanding that she returns the money.
Prejean recently claimed that divine intervention had led to her comments on gay marriage.
