90s star Tiffany apologises for outing Jonathan Knight

New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight was accidentally outed by 90s popstar Tiffany.

Tiffany was being interviewed on Bravo’s late night chat show Watch What Happens Live and told host Andy Cohen that Knight was gay.

She revealed that she had once dated “the quiet one, the shy one” in New Kids on the Block, then added, “He became gay later.”

“Did you turn him?” Cohen asked.

“No,” she replied. “See I had issues with that, I was thinking maybe I did.”

“Now looking back when we were dating he was so much fun,” she said. “We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to and he was fabulous.”

On Top magazine reports that she later apologised to Knight on Twitter, saying: “Really didn’t know that was the wrong thing to say. Never meant to hurt Jon.”

Knight, who now works in real estate, laughed off Tiffany’s blunder, saying he thought it was funny.
