Ted Nugent ‘repulsed’ by gay sex but ‘not homophobic’
Rocker Ted Nugent says he is “repulsed” by gay sex but has nothing against gay people.
Speaking on Piers Morgan Tonight, the gun rights activist said he thinks gay sex is “against nature”.
He said: “If you’re gay, have a nice day. I couldn’t give a rats ass.”
When Morgan asked if he was homophobic or how he would feel if his son was gay, he said: “Not at all. Ultimately all of that stuff is inconsequential.
“I’m repulsed at the concept of man-on-man sex, I think it’s against nature. I think it’s strange as hell, but if that’s what you are I love ya… I’m not going to judge another’s morals. I say live and let live. I have friends that are gay.”
Nugent, who is on the board of the National Rifle Association, also expressed his admiration for former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
Calling her a “great woman, perfect American”, he described her as an “ass kicker” who “became mayor because she voiced concerns that were supported by the majority of her neighbours”.
