Travel: Top ten wedding destinations for gay couples revealed
The online travel advisor, Cheapflights, has released a new list of top ten travel destinations for gay couples who wish to marry, with the US capital, Washington D.C., topping the list.
The city legalised equal marriage only in 2009, but has long played host to a large LGBT community, the compilation says, and is one of the three US towns/cities to make it to the top ten. The other two were, Provincetown, Massachusetts at No. 5, and New York City at No. 8. The latter brought forth equal marriage in July last year.
