In Photos: US members of Congress supporting the NOH8 campaign

The NOH8 campaign, which uses celebrities to highlight the ban on same-sex marriage in states across America, has released a series of photos, showing 26 members of the US Congress, supporting its campaign.

The photos were released last week as part of National Coming Out Day.

To date all 37 congressional members who have posed for NOH8 photos have been Democrats – with no Republicans.

Commenting on the photo shoot NOH8 co-founder Jeff Parshley said: “We would like to thank every Member of Congress who had a NOH8 photo taken as part of NOH8 on The Hill II. We’re still very keen to photograph our first senator and so would ask any that are contemplating supporting our campaign to reach out to us.”
