George Michael’s lucky escape after falling out of a car travelling at 70mph
Further details have been revealed about last week’s motorway crash involving George Michael.
Katherine Fox, 23, was driving behind the silver Range Rover carrying the 49-year-old when she was forced to slam on the brakes.
“I saw blood everywhere and a man on the ground,” she told the Sun. “I thought someone had run across the road and been hit. I asked what had gone on and was told he tried to open the car door and shut it again because it wasn’t shut properly and apparently fell out at 70mph.”
Ms Fox, a nanny, said: “George didn’t say anything, he just seemed in shock. He was sitting down against a car and in the arms of his friend.”
George Michael’s publicist, Connie Filippello, said he was “being treated for superficial cuts and bruises but is fine”.
He was yesterday reported to have been discharged from hospital.
