Lesbian woman stabbed after being kicked out of McDonald’s for having sex in a bathroom
Two women in the US state of Pennsylvania were attacked and beaten by a group of people, after they were caught having sex in a McDonald’s bathroom.
The confrontation began on Thursday afternoon at around 5pm, after customers int he Upper Darby branch of McDonald’s complained to staff that they had seen two women go into the women’s bathroom together.
The manager then entered the bathroom, and found the women “engaged in some type of sexual activity”, before asking them to leave, Upper Darby Police Superintendent Mike Chitwood said, in an interview with KYW-TV.
The women then reportedly got into a scuffle whilst leaving the restaurant, as one onlooker used a homophobic slur against them.
Some of the customers then followed the couple outside and began an attack. Police said that one of the women was stabbed with an unknown object by a 40-year-old woman in the group of attackers, who had two children with her.
The attackers fled when police arrived, and the victim was treated for her injury.
“Everybody should do their own thing,” Chitwood said, speaking to the Philadelphia Inquirer. “But doing it at 5 o’clock in the afternoon in a McDonald’s bathroom – whether you’re female and female, female and male or male and male – what the fuck?”
Authorities were in the process of reviewing CCTV footage, in order to ascertain the identity of the attackers.
