Christian students condemn gay classmates for ‘unpatriotic’ rainbow flag at US university

Students at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) have got into a row after the university’s LGBT group MT Lambda flew a rainbow version of the US national flag as part of LGBT history month.
“I don’t agree with it because I have my own Christian views,” MTSU freshman Laura Short told News Channel 5. “I mean, it’s not like you could go around hanging a flag that has a cross on it in the library.”
MT Lambda president Joshua Rigsby said: “It’s indicative of the fact that LGBTs are Americans also. We’re having to fight for the same rights that heterosexual people have to fight for every day.”
