Speedo-clad Olympic diver Chris Mears takes to the decks for cruise liner magazine launch
Chris Mears appeared last night at the launch party for two new on-board magazines for Cunard and P&O Cruises respectively, which took place at the Haymarket Hotel.
Olympic diver Mears shares a Southampton base with the cruise lines and – along with his burgeoning reputation as a Producer/DJ – was the perfect frontman for the job. He dived through a ribbon to open the proceedings before starring with syncro team Aquabatix, and later took to the decks -intentional pun- to provide musical entertainment too.
The magazines are the latest from the stable of titles produced by the former Publishing Director of Attitude magazine, Darren Styles, before a return to the gay lifestyle market early next year.
