 BloodTransfusion

A viewer of the Northern Irish BBC Nolan Show last night text in to say they would rather die than take a blood transfusion from a gay person.

During the programme, which featured PinkNews founder Benjamin Cohen debating the ban on gay men giving blood, despite the ban having been lifted in England, and despite Northern Ireland accepting donations which could have come from gay men, the viewer wrote in.

The user, named ‘Big G’, said: “I would rather go to my grave than receive blood from a gay man”.
