Facebook removes game that urged users to shoot gay men depicted as sexual predators
Facebook has removed a gaming app that urged users to shoot gay men in a fictional wood.
The “Kill to avoid Forest Sex” depicted gay men as naked violent sexual predators.
It required users to shoot at gay men in their rear in order to avoid being sexually attacked.
Facebook told PinkNews.co.uk on Thursday that the app broke its terms and conditions.
The social networking site added that it operated on a highly self-regulating level, and that it encouraged Facebook users to report questionable content.
The game was first created back in 2002 by a Frenchman called Stéphane Aguie. Gay rights groups in France have previously tried to ban circulation of the game in the country.
In May, Apple banned a Christian app that claimed to help users ‘cure’ themselves of homosexuality.
