UK: Four arrested over gay pub homophobic attack
Police investigating a homophobic attack at a gay pub in Norwich have arrested four people.
The incident occurred on Saturday 22 December when a group of men were involved in an altercation with staff at The Kings Pub.
Three staff members were physically assaulted and subjected to homophobic language. Injuries included scratches, bruises, and concussion.
On Friday it was announced that officers had arrested four men, aged 28, 30, 31, and 32, on suspicion of affray. All have been questioned at Aylsham Police Investigation Centre and released on bail until February while enquiries continue.
Police continue to examine CCTV from the incident and anyone with information concerning those involved should contact PC Paul Collins at Bethel Street Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
