Did Putin know he ‘cuddled’ an openly bisexual Dutch gold medal-winning speed skater?
An openly bisexual Dutch speed skater who won gold at Sochi at the weekend has said she “got a cuddle” from Russian President Vladimir Putin after her win.
After heading over to the Holland Heineken House on Sunday evening, she bumped into the president.
As well as congratulating her on her gold medal, Wüst was also asked by Putin how she was finding her visit to Russia.
“I got a cuddle from him,” Wust told Dutch national broadcaster NOS.
“He congratulated me and asked if everything was OK in Russia and I congratulated him on [Russian speedskater] Olga Graf, of course, for her third place in the 3,000 meters. He was happy to see me, but then he had to leave again. But I cuddled him.”
Putin signed a law last June which bans the promotion of “non-traditional sexual relationships” to minors causing an outcry ahead of the Sochi games which are currently taking place.
