This mother’s homophobic response to a birthday party invite is horrifying
A mother wrote this homophobic response to a birthday party invite her son received from a girl who has two gay dads.
It reads: “Tommy will NOT be attending. I do not believe in what you do and will not subject my innocent son to your “lifestyle”.
“I’m sorry Sophia has to grow up this way. If you have an issue or need to speak to me: [phone number]”
Apparently, the boy’s mother, Beth, will not allow him to go to Sophia’s ‘tie dye’ 7th birthday party.
Sophia’s dads sent the response in to K98.3, their local radio station, who posted it to Facebook.
According to K98.3: “Beth gave us permission to post her phone number and said anyone who has a problem with what she wrote can call her, too!”
