Thousands of students form ‘Wall of Love’ to block anti-gay church from entering campus
More than 2,000 students and supporters at the University of Missouri formed a ‘Wall of Love’ over the weekend in order prevent members of the Westboro Baptist Church and their God Hates Fag campaign from entering the campus.
God Hates Fags was hoping to protest following the coming out of the star American football player Michael Sam.
The anti-gay group claims that everything bad that happens to Americans from the death of soldiers, mass murder through to natural disasters are a punishment of God for the existence of gay people in the United States.
