Sorry #UKIPWeather, Spring is set to return for the first gay weddings this weekend!
Going against the beliefs of one particular UKIP councillor, the weather is set to improve with warm weather this Saturday for the first same-sex marriages in England and Wales.
After receiving Royal Assent last year, the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act will take effect on Saturday 29 March.
Contrary to the beliefs of former UKIP councillor David Silvester who claimed that “gay marriage caused storms”, the weather is set to be nice and sunny this Saturday.
According to BBC Weather, Spring is set to return with highs of 18-19 degrees.
