Robert Mugabe: I pity the Queen over Britain’s gay habits
Robert Mugabe, the President of Zimbabwe, has said that he ‘pities’ the Queen, for having to deal with Britain’s gay habits.
In a rare interview with the BBC’s Our World this evening, he said: “What has happened to Britain?
“Is it education? Is it a tradition? They have grown small in mind, small intellect. Ideology gone!
“That wisdom which the likes of Churchill had. Where is it? You don’t see it at all.
“You can’t see it in people now, with gay habits. Shame on them!
“I pity the one lady I admire, the Queen, that she is in these circumstances.
“They’ve gone to the dogs! No respect. Countries don’t respect them anymore.”
Mugabe recently threatened to expel any diplomats who mention homosexuality in Zimbabwe, at a speech after his daughter’s wedding reception.
He said at the time: “Let Europe keep their homosexual nonsense there and live with it. We will never have it here. The act [homosexuality] is not humane.
“Any diplomat who talks about homosexuality will be kicked out. There is no excuse and we won’t listen to them.”
