Wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin: I’m absolutely for same-sex marriage
Wrestling legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has proclaimed his strong support for same-sex marriage.
The wrestler, real name Steven James Anderson, 49, said on his podcast, recorded last year: “I’ve got some damned good friends that are gay and I’m absolutely for same-sex marriage.
“I don’t give a shit if two guys, two gals, guy-gal, whatever it is, I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the goddamn world, that wants to be married.
“If it’s the same-sex, more power to them.
“What also chaps my ass, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that’.
“Which one of these motherf**kers talked to God and God said that same-sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some background on that 411?”
The WWE legend retired from professional wrestling in 2003, after winning a total of 21 championships, and is described as “the biggest star in the history of the WWE”.
