Tom Daley’s boyfriend Dustin Lance Black: People have been supportive after sex pic leak

Tom Daley’s boyfriend Dustin Lance Black has said he is glad he finally addressed the leak of pictures of him engaging in sex acts.

Milk screenwriter Black revealed earlier this month that he was had been barred from speaking at his former college’s graduation ceremony, after they found out about the leaked photos.

He told Digital Spy today: “If you invade my privacy, this is what you will find.

“I have sex. It brings me joy, fosters intimacy and helps love grow.

“I am the victim of this ‘scandal’, not the perpetrator.

“People have been so incredibly supportive.

“It was about time [I addressed it]. I always just sort of think it’ll disappear, but it came up again.

“Cleve Jones, who’s in Milk, is like a mentor to me, and he said, ‘Girl, you need just to say it and let people know what’s up’, so I went ahead and did that. It was good to finally get it done.”

He was speaking while attending the first annual party at Battersea Power Station with Daley.

Daley revealed in a YouTube video last December that he was in a long-term relationship with a man, who he later confirmed was Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.

Earlier this month, an artist created a portrait of Daley out of homophobic tweets sent to him after the announcement.
