The American Family Association refused a $10 donation, because it was sent in an envelope with a commemorative Harvey Milk stamp on.

The group announced they were boycotting the postal service last month, over the unveiling of a stamp in memory of gay rights hero Harvey Milk.

A reader of blog Wonkette sought to test the anti-gay groupā€™s resolve, by sending them a donation with the stamp on, but it was returned unopened.

He joked: ā€œI thought their credibility could be purchased for $10. If only theyā€™d set their non-gay pride aside, they could have purchased 22 non-Harvey Milk stamps with that much.

ā€œDoesnā€™t the AFA care for the patriotic civic servants at the USPS? Those who had to walk this poor Harvey Milk envelope back to me in a socialistic manner?

ā€œThe LEAST the AFA could have done was put another stamp on it to pay the offending donation back to me. Perhaps with the Anita Bryant stamp?ā€

The AFA had previously said: ā€œHonoring predator Harvey Milk on a U.S. postage stamp is disturbing to say the least. He is the last person we should be featuring on a stamp.

ā€œFurthermore, the radical homosexual lobby will undoubtedly encourage businesses to use these stampsā€”all in the name of inclusiveness, political correctness and unity.

ā€œWhatever you think about diversity, no one thinks diversity ought to include paedophilia. This is not diversity; this is perversity.ā€
