Report: Portia de Rossi enters rehab for drugs and alcohol use
US actress Portia de Rossi has reportedly had a stint in rehab, as rumours swirl about her marriage to chat show star Ellen DeGeneres.
According to In Touch magazine, the actress entered Passages Malibu in early May after a confrontation with Ellen.
“They got into an ugly fight,” a source allegedly told the magazine. “Portia hadn’t been happy for a while and was drinking and isolating [herself], and Ellen confronted her.
“Portia lost it and blamed Ellen for driving her to drink because of her controlling ways and said she wasn’t in love with her anymore. Ellen was crushed and screamed at Portia to get out.”
Representatives for de Rossi and Ellen have refused to comment.
The couple married in August 2008.
