US: New York Police search for suspects in anti-gay attack
The New York Police Department is looking for two suspects in connection with an anti-gay attack.
According to police, the incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on 23 July when two men followed a woman into an eyeglasses store located in the Bronx.
While inside the store, the men used anti-gay slurs directed toward the woman.
They also physically assaulted her, causing lacerations to her face and body.
The assailants were captured on security camera footage, but the pair has not been caught.
The NYPD is asking anyone with information on the attack to report their knowledge.
