Watch: Andrew Rannells talks Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Jimmy Fallon
Actor Andrew Rannells discussed his upcoming role as Hedwig in Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The New Normal and Girls star will take over for Neil Patrick Harris after his final performance as Hedwig on 17 August.
Rannells’s first performance will be 20 August.
Rannells, who is openly gay, will play Hedwig, a transgender East German rock singer, in the Tony-winning show.
He has previously been on Broadway in The Book of Mormon, Hairspray and Jersey Boys.
