Neil Patrick Harris on split rumours: I couldn’t be more in love my family

Neil Patrick Harris has denied that he is splitting from husband David Burtka.
It was reported by tabloids earlier this month that Burtka and Harris – who are parents to twin sons Gideon and Harper – are living separately and seeing other people.
However, the How I Met Your Mother star has spoken out to deny the reports.
He said: “I couldn’t be more in love with my family, any reports to the contrary are woefully mistaken.”
He also posted a picture on Instagram of Burtka with the pair’s sons.
He said: “In high school all my friends were sleeping with girls, and it just seemed like that’s what one did.
“So therefore that’s what I did, but it left me feeling unsettled, as if I had somehow done it wrong.
“That’s not a good feeling. But now I think it’s easier to avoid that fate.
“Today, it’s cool to see a happy lesbian couple who are high school juniors.”
