London: Police release image of man accused of making anti-gay slurs at victim in street
Police have released an image of a man they are looking to trace in connection with several homophobic incidents in north-east London.
The suspect is wanted in connection with harassment in Leyton High Road and St George’s Road in Waltham Forest between January and June this year.
The man is accused of shouting homophobic abuse towards another man in his 40s.
Comments such as “Queen of Queens” were reportedly shouted at the victim.
An image was taken by the victim on his phone and emailed to the police.
It has been released to the Waltham Forest Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police.
