Despite anti-gay rants, Duck Dynasty computer game to get international release
The controversial television reality series Duck Dynasty will soon branch out into the world of gaming, despite a history of anti-gay remarks from one of the show’s most prominent stars.
Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson earlier this month added to controversy started last year, when he claimed that sexually transmitted infections are God’s punishment for gays.
Activision today announced that A&E Network’s Duck Dynasty will go to games consoles across the globe. It will follow the family Robertsons in their local area, allowing users to hunt and race, as well as extra tasks around the ranch.

It will feature the real voices of members of the Robertson family.
The network’s spokesman Dan Suratt, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Duck Dynasty to gaming consoles.”
“Activision has truly captured the unique personalities of the Robertsons in an engaging, action-packed interactive experience the whole family will enjoy,” he continued.
The game will be released on Xbox, PS3, PS4 and Nintendo DS.
Despite the family claiming it had “moved on” from the incident, earlier this year Robertson gave an Easter Sermon claiming that the “sexually immoral” would go to hell.
Last week Robertson claimed that he is only as homophobic as Jesus – though his son Alan Robertson has hailed him as a 21st Century prophet more akin to John the Baptist.
