Watch: Gay men have no idea how tampons work
A video shows how little some gay men understand about menstruation.
The new clip, produced by Buzzfeed, shows a series of gay men baffled by how to apply pads, tampons and diva cups.
Most of the men are completely baffled by the tampons, with one saying: “I don’t even know what you do with this!”
They don’t fare much better with the sanitary pads, which apparently are worn “like a diaper”.
Another speculates: “Do you just sit on it like this?”
One of the men concludes: “I don’t know a lot about feminine hygiene products, and I feel I should do a little research, so I’m more educated, because who knows? One day I might have a little girl.”
