Actress Raven-Symoné reveals she is dating a woman but doesn’t want to be ‘labelled gay’
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey this weekend, actress Raven-Symoné revealed she is “in an amazing, happy relationship with my partner – a woman,” but said she’s “tired of being labelled.”
The That’s So Raven actress told Oprah she had always been attracted to both men and women.
“I knew when I was 12 – I was looking at everything.”
She also said she refuses to accept being labelled, whether it’s to do with her race or her sexuality.
“I’m an American, I’m not an African American. I’m an American,” she said.
She added: “I’m in an amazing, happy relationship with my partner – a woman. I am proud to be what I am and who I am.
“I don’t want to be labelled gay. I want to be labelled a human who loves humans. I’m tired of being labelled.”
