Watch: Cheerios ad features gay couple and their daughter
A new Cheerios advert in Canada challenges the idea of gay parenting, as it features an interview with a gay couple and their adoptive daughter.
The ad features André, Jonathan and Raphaëlle, as the couple talk about the social challenges of adopting their daughter, as well as the process of doing so.
Jonathan says: “Now she’s really cool, she has love, she’s confident, and people outside who have a problem with that are going to try to put doubt in her head. We are going to have to fight with that.
“If Raphaëlle has a problem with having two dads, I see that it’s not going to be our fault.”
