NSync reunion planned for same-sex wedding of singer Lance Bass?
Singer Lance Bass has revealed that he will marry his same-sex partner in December – and he’s invited his former ‘N Sync bandmates.
The former ‘N Sync star, who came out in 2006, had previously planned to wed fiancé Michael Turchin next February – but has moved the wedding forward, to December 20.
Setting the date, he told People: “I called Michael last night and said, ‘Babe, we have to plan something.’ I’m tired of telling everyone we haven’t done anything yet!”
Of his former band, he said: “Yes, there will be a reunion.”
He isn’t sure if he will be up for singing though, adding: “I doubt we’ll be performing. I think it’s a little cheesy if I sing at all at my wedding.”
The band split in 2002 – but reunited for a one off performance last year at the VMAs.
Bass previously planned to air the wedding as a TV special, saying in June: “We’re going to air the special around Valentine’s Day.
“It’s going to be taped [not live]. I’m producing, so I’m going to film it, and it will show the lead up to it.
“We’re still two guys getting married, and with two guys it’s really hard to plan a wedding!
“There’s a lot of humour coming out of this, because we have no idea what we’re doing.”
However, it is not known if the televised event is still planned.
