Grindr users want to vote for Hillary, but hook up with JFK
A majority of Grindr users would vote for Hillary Clinton if she runs for President – but users overwhelmingly agree John F Kennedy was the hottest President.
A poll of 2400 users carried out by the hookup app ahead of next month’s midterm elections found that 53 percent of users would vote for Clinton if she runs in 2016.
Mrs Clinton would also pip current President Barack Obama in a hypothetical election between the two, with 58 percent backing Clinton, 19 percent Obama, and 23 percent voting for neither.
In other bad news for Obama, he also missed out on the top spot in the app’s poll for the hottest President, taking just 15 percent of the vote.
Deceased President John F Kennedy was voted the hottest, with a massive 64 percent.
Grindr said: “We can’t blame them, JFK was a hottie, but we’ve all looked at that shirtless pic of Barack on the beach… and we were impressed.”
However, nearly two-thirds of Grindr users think the US is better off now than when Obama became President in 2008 – and minority rights are considered a less pressing issue now, below the economy and healthcare.
The poll comes after a previous effort by a Grindr user, who accurately predicted the results of the Scottish referendum last month.
The poll, conducted by Tom Court, asked 655 users the same question: “Do you think Scotland should become an independent country?”
The result found a 54-46% split against Independence – far closer to the actual result than many professional pollsters.
