1. A man delivered leaflets claiming AIDS is God’s punishment for gays
The man, dressed in a monk’s robe, happily posed for pictures while delivering the leaflets in Cambridge.
They claim “it is a fact that Gays want no age of consent” , and that transgender people “are possessed by demons”.
2. NHS Scotland accidentally leaked a list of transgender patients
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde mistakenly leaked data pertaining to 86 transgender patients, after copying people in to an email chain.
A spokesperson said: “Patient confidentiality is of the highest priority and we are extremely concerned that this breach has occurred as a result of human error.”
3. Nicky Morgan was heckled at the PinkNews awards
The Minister for Women and Equalities – who opposed same-sex marriage – was interrupted during her speech at the PinkNews awards.
Labour MP Ben Bradshaw defended yelling “but you voted against it!” repeatedly, saying: “She was lucky not to be heckled twice”.
4. A UKIP MEP claimed gay marriage is ‘false bollocks’ by ‘equality Nazis’
David Coburn – UKIP’s most prominent gay politician – said: “It’s just for some queen who wants to dress up in a bridal frock and in a big moustache and dance up the aisle to the Village People.”
“What you’re doing with the gay marriage issue is you’re rubbing people’s noses in the dirt.”
5. Ellen DeGeneres ‘turned straight’ and married George Clooney
The lesbian TV host surprised her audience when she came out in a wedding dress during her Halloween show – and married a dummy of George Clooney.
She said: “I love Halloween because it’s the one time you can dress up however you want, and pretend to be someone you’d never be in real life. For me, that’s married to a man.”
6. Kim Jong-Un took a rather awkward photo
The North Korean dictator was on a tour of a children’s home when he was upstaged by two male toys, who appear to be simulating anal sex.
It’s unclear who is responsible for the placement of the toys, because the DPRK claims that homosexuality “never” occurs in North Korea.
7. Apple CEO Tim Cook came out as gay
The tech boss – who succeeded Steve Jobs as CEO – said: “I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me.”
