US: Golfer Patrick Reed caught swearing and saying ‘faggot’ on the course

Golfer Patrick Reed, who is currently playing the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai, was caught using homophobic language after three-putting his shot on Thursday.
While playing his 10th hole of the day, Reed three-putted for a bogey.
During the live transmission, on-course microphones picked him up saying: “Nice f***ing three-putt you f***ing faggot.”
According to Golf Channel, the PGA Tour issued a statement on Thursday morning, saying: “The PGA Tour Conduct Unbecoming regulations prohibit the use of obscene language on the golf course.
“The PGA Tour will deal with this matter internally in accordance with its regulations.”
