Police appeal for help finding thug who robbed victim he met in a club
Camden police have appealed for help finding a robber who savagely attacked a man in his home, after they met in a club.
The 51-year-old victim met the suspect at around 11:30 in a club in the Marble Arch area, before they left to go to the victim’s home in Camden together to stay the night.
However, police say that when they got to the man’s home, the suspect attacked the 51-year-old, knocking him unconscious – and making off with his 15 inch Samsung laptop.
Police are looking for a black male, aged between 20 to 24 years old, around 5ft 9 tall with a muscular build.
He is clean-shaven with short dark hair, a thin nose and thick lips. He was wearing a dark blue top, dark trousers and black trainers.
Due to the nature of the attack, Camden LGBT Forum confirmed they “will be conducting community outreach in the coming days” alongside members of the police, to help locate the attacker.
If you have any information about the attack, call Camdon Police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
