Scottish by-election candidate: I will ‘easily’ stop same-sex marriage if elected
A candidate in a council by-election in Scotland has pledged to “easily” stop same-sex marriages from happening.
Independent candidate Philip Mitchell made the claim in a leaflet ahead of the Troup by-election – triggered by the death of Conservative councillor John Duncan.
Mr Mitchell – who has previously been jailed for contempt of court – is running as an Independent in the November 27 election, against Ann Bell (Liberal Democrat), Ross Cassie (SNP), Alan Duffill (Labour), Darren Duncan (Green), Iain Taylor (Conservative) and fellow independent Alan Still.
In the leaflet, distributed throughout the Macduff area, he wrote in part: “[I am] standing to stop Aberdeenshire Council’s Registrars fraudulent issuing of certificates of Marriage (particularly for same-sex unions) in completion of the marriage-fraud.
“My brother John and I believe the fundamental issue in local and national politics is political corruption against constituents, from corrupt local planning decisions to the Government’s unjustified and corrupt 2014 ‘Marriage’ Act, which incredulously does not even provide for (the entity of) marriage!
“If elected, I pledge to easily veto (with clear-lawfulness taking precedence over voting) Aberdeenshire Council Registrars from fraudulently issuing certificates of Marriage.
“My brother John and I have precisely unravelled the Government’s media-aided, treasonous-Police-allowed “same-sex marriage” corruption, serial-fraud, truth-hate crime.
“Ultimately, an unintended consequence of the marriage-fraud is criminally de-recognising/abolishing marriage while fraudulently claiming its eligibility is being extended.
“I doubt the other Troup Ward candidates have the necessary appreciation and ability to stop devious, convincing, political corruption, and so would likely become involved.”
