Google Play sells game in which users have to kill as many gays as possible
A game in which users must hunt and kill gay people, and which depicts gay men as violent sexual predators, is being sold in the Google Play store.
The game requires users to shoot at gay men in order to avoid being sexually attacked.
It was first created back in 2002 by a Frenchman called Stéphane Aguie. Gay rights groups in France have previously tried to ban circulation of the game in the country.
The description on the Google Play store reads: “Popular game hunting on gays is now on android! Play and do not be gay!”
“Legendary game, where you are hunter and your mission is to kill gays as much as you can or escape between them to the next level. Gays may be hidden in bushes and unexpectedly catch you.
“Remember! When they catch you they will do with you whatever they want ;)”
Users have rated the game 3.9 out of 5 stars with 362 total ratings, however some said they downloaded it only to be able to rate it one star, and to express their disgust.
It has been downloaded between 10,000 and 50,000 times.
Google Play and the game’s developer did not immediately return requests for comment.
