Gay porn star jailed after trying to smuggle crystal meth in his anus
A gay porn star has been jailed for two years – after trying to smuggle crystal meth into the UK inside his rectum.
British-born Bruno Knight was arrested in California in July, while attempting to smuggle crystal meth onto a flight to the UK.
The erotic actor, real name Phillip Gizzie, was arrested at Los Angeles Airport after attempting to board a Virgin Atlantic flight.
He eventually admitted to the drugs being inside him – which had to be removed by enema.
In a hearing this week, defense attorney Neha A Meta had argued for a more lenient sentence, saying: “He’s not a sophisticated drug dealer. It was mostly for his personal use.”
However, Knight was jailed for two years by US District Judge Manuel Real – with three years of supervised release.
Knight was stopped by customs officials in July after a tip from the US Drug Enforcement Administration, and it was noticed during questioning that Knight was “moving erratically” and “sweating profusely”.
The star told officials he had taken methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and GHB, and later admitted to having the crystal meth inside him.
He was carrying three packets of the drug – a total of 226 grams. He was able to dislodge two of the packets himself, but the third was unable to be removed.
He was transferred to Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, where the third package was removed by enema and seized.
