Glee to introduce out gay quarterback
Popular TV show ‘Glee’ is to introduce a gay quarterback to its cast for its final season.
The sixth and final season of the show will start in the US in two weeks, and with it will be introduced Spencer, the football quarterback, who happens to be gay.
The character is played by Canadian actor Marshall Williams, who describes Spencer as “a douchey high school jock who is a jerk to everyone, but has a softer side that will come out in future episodes.”
Williams says nobody will mess with Spencer for his sexuality.
Glee returns for its final season on Friday 9 January on Fox.
