Judge rules that same-sex marriage licenses must be issued across Florida
A US District Judge has ordered for marriage licenses to be issued to same-sex couples across all counties within Florida.
Up until now, licenses had been issued in some counties, but denied in others. Earlier, another judge, only with jurisdiction over two counties, ordered officials to issue licenses, but his ruling only applied in Orange and Osceola counties.=
Now Judge Robert Hinkle confirmed that all counties must issue marriage licences after a stay on an earlier ruling expires at the end of January 5th.
