Stephen Fry and Elliott Spencer share photos following private wedding
Stephen Fry and Elliott Spencer have shared a small selection of photos from their wedding day, after tying the knot in a private ceremony at the weekend.
The pair married last Saturday – two weeks after they first revealed their engagement.
The QI host posted a picture of the ceremony to Twitter this afternoon, writing: “Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing.”

The pair opted for a low-key civil ceremony, signing the marriage register together in Dereham, Norwich.
The pair’s ceremony was ‘witnessed’ by a small model of playwright Oscar Wilde.
Mr Fry said: “Oh and @ElliottGSpencer and I had our vows witnessed by a mini Oscar Wilde. Because one should. #greencarnations”

The news of the pair’s engagement was first broken by British tabloid newspapers earlier this month.
Mr Fry said at the time: “Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag. I’m very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!”
However, the pair were granted their wish of a private wedding – with no press reports until Mr Fry revealed the nuptials himself.
