Can you guess which of these images TfL claimed did not contain ‘nudity or semi-nudity’

Amid a controversy over a banned poster for a production of Kevin Elyot’s play ‘My NIght with Reg’, Transport for London (TfL) has deemed some ads featuring almost naked men appropriate, and others not.

According to TfL’s advertising policy, any ad will be rejected if: “The advertisement depicts men, women or children in a sexual manner or displays nude or semi-nude figures in an overtly sexual context.”

Can you guess which one of these images TfL deemed not to contain those things?

Or this?

The ‘My Night with Reg’ poster was actually rejected, while the advert for Bulk Powder was allowed to be displayed on London Underground.

A TfL spokesperson told PinkNews: “Two adverts were submitted for display on our network about the play My Night with Reg. One was accepted and the other was rejected by our advertising agency because it didn’t comply with our advertising policy. The advert submitted for Bulk Powder was approved as it complied with our advertising policy.”

Last week PinkNews reported that a poster for the play had been rejected from appearing at London Underground stations.

‘My Night With Reg’, possibly Kevin Elyot’s best known play, won an Olivier Award in 1995, and was revived at the Donmar Warehouse last July-September. It is to transfer to the Apollo Theatre this weekend.
