Snooki becomes ordained minister to perform same-sex wedding
US reality star Snooki has become an ordained minister – so that she can marry two of her gay friends.
The Jersey Shore star, real name Nicole Polizzi, revealed on Twitter she is now “OFFICIALLY Ordained” in order to marry stylists Bradley Moreland and Luis Miller.
She wrote: “I’m OFFICIALLY Ordained!!! Just call me Mama Reverend. Cannot wait to marry my loves @BradleyStyleNYC & @lulu2038”
Miller told US Weekly of the planned ceremony: “It’s going to be filled with love, happiness, surprises and excitement.”
The reality star herself married in November last year.
Her former Jersey Shore co-star JWoww warned New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in 2013 that she will “come after him” over his opposition to equal marriage.
Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley said: “I’m going to come after you. If you have a problem with two people being in love, and you’re against gay marriage, I have a problem with you.
“What happens between two human beings has nothing to do with Chris Christie and does not affect Chris Christie.
“What does affect me is when my best friend can’t get married in New Jersey, and my best friend’s mother, who is a lesbian, can’t get married.”
