Perez Hilton has become the seventh housemate to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The gay celebrity blogger was given his marching orders last night shortly after singer Kavana was also voted out.

Hilton quickly flew up the steps of the CBB house without saying goodbye to his fellow housemates and was seen saying that he was “relieved”.

When asked if he had any regrets, Hilton told presenter Emma Willis: “It has been a traumatic experience for me. I have suffered so much pain in that house”.

The 36-year-old also claimed that he had to take sleeping pills.

“I’ve had to medicate myself in the house,” Hilton explained, as he admitted: “I couldn’t shut my brain off.”

The blogger continuously attracted complaints from fellow housemates and viewers due to his outlandish behaviour and outspoken remarks.

He compared living with Katie Hopkins to the AIDS crisis.

RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage criticised Hilton, saying: “Having lost 20 plus friends to AIDS – that is a bit extreme!”

Last month, Visage claimed that Hilton was “setting the LGBT community back” half a century and that he was “an embarrassment”.

However, Hilton was also on the receiving end of offensive comments after R&B singer Alexander O’Neal branded him a “faggot”.

O’Neal was given an official warning by Celebrity Big Brother for his use of “unacceptable” language. He then quit the show.
