Wu-Tang Clan member: I don’t support gays, but I’m not here to judge
Wu-Tang Clan member Cappadonna has said that he “doesn’t support” homosexuality – but isn’t “judging”.
Cappadonna, real name Darryl Hill, is a member of the famous rap collective.
He was speaking to Jeff 4 Justice about a rumoured Wu-Tang collaboration with Cher, and was asked about gay and lesbian fans.
The rapper said: “That’s not something I support, but I’m not here to judge nobody.
“I’m a righteous man, I just know right from wrong. I don’t feel like that kind of energy needs to be exploited.
“Let them do what they do on that side of town, and let us do what we got to do here.”
Fellow Wu-Tang rapper Ghostface Killah (Dennis Coles) said previously: “I can’t knock gay rap, or retarded rap – whatever. Do what you do, I don’t really listen to it.
“I don’t really pay that no attention. Like I said, it’s not my cup of tea – to each his own. At the end of the day, we all people”
